Chandra Irawan

Chandra holds a BSc in Mechanical engineering and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems and spent many years of his professional tenure in the Oil and Gas and Renewable Energy sector. In total, he has managed the start-up and operation of critical mission facilities for over 14 years.

He was Data Centre Engineering Operation Manager (Infrastructures) for Amazon Web Services Indonesia before joining Pure in 2021. He was responsible for managing operations and maintenance of AWS’s data centres and colocations in the Indonesia region and contributed to the successful region launch. He also has experience in construction and start-up utility scale Solar PV plant.

Currently, Chandra leads the country operation for Indonesia and ensures the highest standards in safety, security, and availability for Pure’s in-country data centres.
