Howard Pheby

A business development director specialising in emerging markets, Howard has worked in the industry for over 25 years. With experience leading data centre projects in Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, Europe, and the UK, his most recent focus has been Africa – where he was previously in charge of Rack Centre in Nigeria, the first Tier-III facility on the continent outside of South Africa.  Howard’s work has encompassed wholesale and retail data centre development, operational management, co-location, managed services, IXPs, site selection, market analysis, and more. Before developing best-of-breed data centres with Pure, he co-founded 5Nines Data Centres – a developer of wholesale data centres for operators and investment banks – and served as Business Development Director for Telehouse Europe and Colt Data Centres Europe.
