John Hoonhout

John Hoonhout is an accomplished leader and sales professional with over 30 years experience in the technology and data centre industries.  John is a New Zealand citizen and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Waikato University.  He has a strong background in project management, is a certified Project Management Professional and ITIL practitioner.  Previously John held various senior positions with Hewlett Packard New Zealand and relocated to Dubai taking on the Managing Director role for Hewlett Packard Middle East, a territory of 10 countries and over 1,000 employees. More recently John held the role of Regional Sales Director for Cisco Services in the GCC where he was instrumental in transforming the organisation into one of the leading system integrators in the region.  In the role of Sales Director for Pure, John leverages both his corporate enterprise sales background as well as the deep industry expertise gained as an independent data centre consultant.
